I don't recall a GM vehicle reaching even 200,000 miles, let alone the record for Mercedes-Benz being 1,000,000 miles!! That is proof enought that Mercedes is the best, and GM builds rickety, cheap, stupid looking, fall apart in your hands inbred cars, that sister humpers like yourself buy. Also, the Dodge Sprinter is powered by a Mercedes Diesel. Stuff that in your pussy.
GM sells 10 times as many cars as mercedes. Why is that you have to ask yourself. cause the mercedes is better. sure, if you say so. no, cause the GM cars are better and people want them thats why they sell 10 times more cars.

They sell 10 times more cars because some of their cars start at 15 grand and are much more affordable than a Mercedes. That doesn't make them better, I'd say that makes them worse.

Freude am fahren!

Well, I read in "Road & Track" about the new world records that were set with the new E320 CDI. 100,000 miles at 146MPH non stop except for fuel and oil and filter changes every 10,000 miles. It took 30 days of 146MPH in 105 degree weather, NOT ONE mechanical failure, all the while maintaining 17MPG....at 146MPH!!!

I know. I was the driver. I racked up 365 speeding tickets and they are talking about the death penalty now. [V]

Mercedes-Benz is setting world records for reliabilty and performance. GM is setting world records for selling the cheapest shittiest cars. Now, which world records would you like to be a part of? I am part of the Mercedes world record by driving my '82 300SD Turbo Diesel, which commands the road, and I laugh at people who drive Oldsmobile Aleros. It was discontinued for a reason.
