RE: Chevy cobalt or Ford Focus

Back to your original question....
You limited the choice to the Ford or the Chevy. Of those two, I believe the Ford would be the better choice. But, I would consider the dealer most important in this price range/market. Your sister is looking for trouble-free motoring. It is the local dealer that will have a large impact on her experience.

RE: Chevy cobalt or Ford Focus

I'd have to say given the choices. Focus. Yes it did have various recalls at the beginning of it's life but it's come a LONG way since. Plus the recalls were more Ford covering it's ass then any real problems.

The Cobalt has yet to be proven and given the record of the Sunfire/Cavaliar twins I'd not give it too much credit.

Go Toyota or Honda if possible.
