Why are dems giving Lieberman the silent treatment??

Former vice presidential candidate, democrat, Lieberman, made a speech this past week, but you would be hard pressed to know it. He basically aggres that we must stay the course. The media and democrat spokesmen are all ignoring it. Why do you suppose that is?
Could it be that is doesn't fit with the leftwing, fringe, agenda that is the current red meat of the MoveOn .Org wing of the democrat party.
Lieberman was once heralded as the conscience of the democrat party; now they ignore him.

Because they can't handle the truth.

Exactly. Of course you wouldn't know if he made this speech, simply due to the fact that it went against left-wing agenda. See, libs turn on themselves like canibals. If it's not Bush bashing or Republican bashing, then media doesn't present it.

Lieberman is a democrat?
In name only. In every other way, he is a Republican lackey.

Regardless of the name-calling--He was the vice presidential candidate for the democrat party.
Maybe its another indication of how far to the left your party has moved. Maybe its an indication of how obsessed the left fringe of your party has become with obtaining political power.
Joe Lieberman has been consistant; the rest of the party has moved left, left, and more left.

Ok, then, name the last speech by John Edwards that was covered by the media. Or Dan Quayle, Gerry, or Gore.

Give up? I do, too. When has anything said by the pissboy or pissboy-wanabee every been news, other than potatoe, or I invented the internet? [?]

2002 Ccoupe, not as good as others, apparently

And the Republican Party hasn't moved drastically to the right? Read Christy Todd Whitman's book IT'S MY PARTY TOO, to see how the moderate wing of the Republican Party has been suppressed and quieted. Remember, the Republicans were once the party of fiscal conservatism--no longer. And remember, too, that Bob Dole once called WWII a "Democrat War," which, by that logic, we ought to call the Iraq war a "Republican War."

I will grant the premise that the current administration is not truly conservative. It has not been financillay conservative; it has not protected the country's borders as it should.
However, there is some stirring among republicans to return to its conservative roots.
The republican party does have a wider diversity of opinion than does the democrat party who refuses to even allow pro-life speakers at its convention.
