Why would a man cultivate on his face what grows naturally on his ass.

Isn't the removal of facial hair nothing more than a move away from masculinity? I mean, try to imagine the first man in history to shave his face. What were his motivations and what was the likely reaction to this bold move?
Yeah,I have pondered this.Presumably a blade capable of shaving a face is a relatively modern invention. But now,the vast majority of the global male population shaves at least in part.I don't think it necessarily follows that it's a move away from masculinity.

Because, for some, it grows naturally on the face as well! To cultivate it (ie to twist, braid, comb/style, color, handlebar, etc)would, I think, be an exercise in masculine vanity. That opinion, and a buck in a lot of places, will buy you a cup of coffee, but not much else...

Should men (or women)with facial hair, including all forms of beard, moustache and sideburns,be automatically subject to ridicule?

Is there ever any justification for having facial hair?

Are moustaches always gay?

Worse than gay, facial hair shows the world your stupidly straight! Not good.
You lost me here. Are you saying there are more straight men with facial hair than gay?

No. Just trying to break a silly stereotype.

haha naa, tho i am a little. i mean, we were raised in northern indiana. i never met a black person until i was in third grade. wherever i was raised(porter county indiana) there were only WASPs. only.

not that its really important to the subject at hand, but it does sort of color ones view. i had to play baseball and football and i really wanted more to play with my potato head kids and my deffinitely dinosaurs.

so yeah-- growing up the youngest child(older brother and sister-- brother was too heavy to play sports) and the son of an alphamale did give me a bit of a complex, its jus not whyever i wear facial hair heh heh

i wear facial hair because i have a fairly long face, my bottom lip was almost designed for a soul patch. i wear sideburns because "the drapes should match the carpet." right now i have a little egyptianesque beard thingee thats getting a little bit too long, but i dont cut it because i have the nervous habit of twisting hair. and smoking. and cursing.

my favorite nervous habit of all, though, is projectile laughing. it makes everyone else nervous too.[:)]
