I have an iMac G5 20" screen. It's the best computer I've ever used. As iNeon says, they don't crash! It has the most stable operating system on the planet!
You must have bought one of the early G5 iMacs, since you have OS X 10.3.6. Before seeing your post, I thought all the G5 iMacs shipped with 10.4.

I had the same thing happen with my wife's G4 Powerbook. We bought it in early August, and it had 10.3 on it. A week later, they all began shipping with 10.4 from the factory. I haven't decided if the differences between 10.3 and 10.4 warrant the $129 upgrade cost.

I bought in February of this year. Wished I would have waited a little longer. OS 10.4x has some problems with my older software. I'll wait for an upgrade later. I'm still using 10.2.3 on my G4 iMac.

If you were registered in college, you could get software for your mac dirt cheap. Hardware is only modestly discounted byt software on campus is $0.

I feel so miserable without you; its almost like having you here.

i agree.

it cannot cost you much more than 200 bux to get ilife and whateverbigcatthenewestoperatingsystemisnamedfor for this computadora.

it will come with software working, os x doesnt need to be reinstalled every 6 months. youll have a long time to think about getting a new OS installed. and to save for it.

RE: iMac Mini!

2 ghz iMac G5 17" Flat panel with superdrive and all your software included for $1,294 is the best bargain. It has 512 mb memory and an iSight camera built in (for you amateur porno freaks!) and a 180 GB harddrive. It also burns DVD's. If you like the real estate of a larger screen, spring for the 20" at $400.00 more!

The iMac is the best consumer entry level machine from Apple. BTW, there are 2 mac mini's and they are not iMacs.

RE: iMac Mini!

900 bux buys a lot of software.

we can assume he has keys, a clicker and a screen.
