Not as lazy as criticizing KV without any backup.
Huh? What "backup" is needed when someone doesn't express their own ideas?
Mr. Vining routinely expresses his own ideas on this board, and, in this case his ideas were expressed in relatively few words, which he then supported with a cut and paste article from a news organization. Mr. Vining's "ideas" are so routinely expressed here I find your criticism of him more than a little, and purposely, obtuse. Like making an unwarranted and unsupported several word long criticism, and then repeating it over and over, so that it sounds a little like a slogan being chanted incessantly, will somehow make it true. A tactic learned during your training, no doubt.
You criticize Mr. Vining for making a few-words-of-his-own post and then backing it up with a quote from another source that supports his point. The gist of your bitch seems to be your disatisfaction with the frequency with which he posts articles critical of Bush, but you cloud the issue suggesting Mr. Vining is not expressing his own ideas. Hang out for a while, and you will find out Mr. Vining's opinion of Mr. Bush. They are very clearly his own ideas, and he has been telling us about them for several years before they became so easily supported with cut and paste articles from the published or broadcast mainstream news media.
It has been pointed out a number of times that your "few word posts" attacking Mr. Vining and others for their "cut and paste" methods contain little or no back-up. You claim, quite incorrectly, that none is required. Your motives are brought into question here as it seems you respond to these politically motivated threads with unsupported claims intended to discredit the contributors who do not support Mr. Bush repeatedly and without missing any. Always the same way when Mr. Vining points out the legitimate press and broadcast media is peeling away the layers of the Iraq sell job cover up, the daily misrepresentations of how the Iraq war is going, and the most recent criticism of the lying about the Plame outing by senior Bush administration officials.
Personally I am fine with Mr, Vining posting articles that bring the facts to light. Even without an introduction he might craft to express his view on the topic, although I usually find those interesting as well. The more people the facts reach, the better. Jim
