RE: wahoo i borrowed a camera

its not plate film(contact printed) and it is not 35mm film(the normal type)

it uses film that is about 3x3(a guess, ive barely played with it)

cool camera

*edit*

the film produces a negative about 3x3[:)]

Yes you will need a wider reel. The film is backed by a paper so it's easy to peel as you feed the film. Much easier than 35mmm

RE: wahoo i borrowed a camera

It means the negative is larger than 35mm...
but smaller than a full size view camera.

I used to use a Rollieflex that was similar,
when I was doing photography for a short time.

It was just going around taking pictures of kids...
but the equipment was top notch.
I only stopped because I felt the megatravel was
too much to ask of my little MG Midget.

What should you photograph?
Why your car, of course.

RE: wahoo i borrowed a camera

OK, these cameras are great for portraits and landscapes. I would shy away from action until you get a handle of your settings.
Some have a great view finder, but some are horrid and you can't see muchwhich means you will be waisting a lot of time setting up your shot.
Developing 120 flim is the same process as 35, so if you have a dark room you will have no problem. You will need a 120 reel and the container. Oh you may end up getting an adapter for your projector film plate. It all depend what kind of projector you got.
