RE: Did you feel personally threatened by Iraq?

ok then, i am actually still baffled why we are in Iraq. to train some terrorists so they can help us keep up the war on terror? i really don't get it.. with all the other issues in our lives why even waste time (and of course precious 2000+ lives) in Iraq. The 9/11 attackers were almost all from SA and were tightly connected to the telliban of Afganistan.. we sure didn't finish the job there and now are financing further efforts against us by getting raped at the pump..

the crap about saddam's thumbing the UN is just a straw man.. shrub pulled the inspectors because he knew that they would dis-prove his WMD intel. i am a bit surprised that he is still holding that torch as highly as he is..

Well, since we had nothing to fear from Iraq, this is clearly an act of conquest. Is there another possibility I have failed to consider?

The only thing I feel threatened by is the slim chance they reinstitute the draft.

i am thinking a personal vendeta maybe at work here... we suck at conquest thus far.. maybe it all boils down to the "for the coorperations by the coorporations" thingy that we just let happen. dunno..
