"Apparently you are too stupid to understand the term "course of action". Do you, in your right mind, ever in a million years think the Democrats would have pursued the same course of action as Bush did? Invading a country and setting up shop as dictators in that country?"
The biggest problem with the left wing is that they cannot bear the facts.
If a Democratic president had been in power on 9/11 I do believe that a similar course of action would have ensued in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Perhaps the Republicans would be at the Dems throat as well.
More facts for those of you delusional about Democratic bloodthirstiness:
a. FDR led us into World War II.
b. Germany never attacked us; Japan did.
>From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 112,500 per year.
Japan and German has signed a mutual agression pact. Any nation that declared war on Japan or German would be at war with Both. When Japan attacked the United States, they declared war on Japan. Because of the pact, this forced German to declare war on the United States. gg, you lose.
c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea.
North Korea never attacked us.
>From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 18,334 per year.
The communists in the North, advised and trained by the USSR, invaded into the democratic South. A United Nations Coalition was sent in, led by the United States and the UK, to repel the communists back to the north. Truman was under pressure from a Mr. McCarthy at home to do something. On the South Korean side were troops from the Unites States, South Korea, The United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, The Philippines, Australia, The Neatherlans, New Zealand, Thailand, Ethiopia, Greece, France, Belgium, Columbia, South Africa, and Luxembourg. gg, you lose again
d John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us.
e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
>From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 5,800 per year.
Khrushchev funneled money and weapons to the North Vietnamese to test America's committment to the "Containment Policy", which was used by both democrat and republican alike, from 1947 until the end of the cold war. A republican would have gone into vietnam under the same policy.
f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
Acts of genocide were taking place in Bosnia with the rest of the world sitting on their hands. Clinton,First with the UN then with NATO, went in to end the genocide. How dare you belittle our involvement. If you want to talk about bringing peace and freedom to a nation, talk about Bosnia. In the meantime your boy Bob Dole was daring republican want to be's to support to move. We sent in 20,000 troops, only 1 was KIA, and a total of 12 people died. gg, you lose again.
It was a nice attempt though, better luck next time :-P
