Man uses pet croc as pillow

A Thai man says his pet crocodile is so tame that he uses it as a pillow in bed.

Coffee vendor Prayoon Thongjorn bought the reptile from a crocodile farm six years ago.

He says Ai Khang makes the perfect 'guard dog' - but is completely tame around the house, reports Phuket Gazette.

Mr Thongjorn, 43, of Phichit, sleeps with the crocodile under the same mosquito net, along with his son, and even uses it as a pillow.

Ai Khang is fed two kilos of meat every two days which is enough to keep him healthy and satisfied.

It is reported when a neighbour warned him to be careful when the animal was hungry the owner decided to carry out a small experiment.

He said: "I let him go for a full 20 days without food to see what would happen, but he didn't show any signs of annoyance or aggression.

"He just followed me around all the time with his mouth wide open, hoping I would take the hint and feed him."

Thanks, D.
