Bush makes important speech on torture, saying "We do not torture"

Somehow, when watching the speech, I had a hard time believing him.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

KV you are at it again, that actually never happened it was made up to incrimenate the innocent and the pure. How could you be so anti American? That pile was not torture, that was just intel gathering for the good of humanity and making sure that these same people in that pile will be rehabilated through this exercise and will think twice before uttering critisim against the allmighty and righteous western world.
Repent KV repent...

Maybe GW should ask the Iranians for a few tips.

“Next Time, You’ll Be Executed

A gay Iranian torture victim’s ordeal
by DOUG IRELAND

Amir: “I passed out before
the 100 lashes were over.

Amir is a 22-year-old gay Iranian who was arrested by Iran’s morality police in a massive Internet entrapment campaign targeting gays. He was beaten and tortured while in custody, threatened with death, and lashed 100 times. He escaped from Iran in August, and is now in Turkey, where he awaits the granting of asylum by a more gay-friendly country. In a two-hour telephone interview from Turkey, Amir — through a translator — provided a terrifying, firsthand account of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s intense and extensive anti-gay crackdown.

As tragic as it is at least they are not hypocrits. They never claimed that they don't torture either right or wrong. Personnally I think their system is not even fit for animals.
What makes me laugh at your leaders is their denial of torture yet they want their people if captured to be treated according to the GC.

Come one Shabah, you know me, I would never post anything that would be misleading or that would show Bush in a bad light.
