That tobaccy is even scarier than the highway.
I may be over my 'what should be rational' highway fear...
but I still am careful to not tailgate other cars.
People drive like there are angels with force fields protecting them.
I saw a tornado move onto the harbor,
when I was living on a boat.
The phenomenon technically becomes a waterspout, at that time.
I saw the keel of a heavy sailboat, that was 2 boats away
and it didn't even rock my boat.
A couple of tornados touched down on my island a few months ago.
One crossed from the Ocean to the Gulf, near the middle of town.
An 'unreported' smaller one must have tickled me.
An awning near the back of my property was mangled.
It picked up the anchors and tossed them around
as it twisted up the poles.
4 hurricanes have lashed us since then though,
so 1/2 the island has been 5 feet under water.
I'm very lucky.
If a tornado hits you... and it's big enough...
it will tear apart a strong house.
