RE: What makes you visit/post on the OT Forum
Since I raised the question, I shall answer first:
I have no intensions of changing anything here on the OT Forum to make it great - I would certainly not advocate for kicking anyone out. I actually enjoy its ups and downs and spontaneity, it's like taking part in one big continuous jam session - jump in and join the groove and if it gets stale, just pull out. It used to be a sleepy place until all the refugees took over and intensified it as the 2004 Election came to a close. After the election, it became more of a free-for-all place (sort of The First Golden Age) and now, it is busy as ever thanks to enthusiastic rookies and virgins (as they always are). I just go with the flow, and once in a while try to step back and think... nevermind, all I see at this moment is just TV static snowflake ...as I weave in and out of its threads.
My foray into OT forum coincided with Mr. Tikket's untimely death last summer (may he RIP) [:(]. Upon his sad departure, I realized that my participation in W126 forum had largely to do with the anticipation of what tall tale has he to tell and who might he instigate next. Quite simply, with Mr.T gone, W126 Forum was not the same anymore. It was then that I discovered the OT Forum. I have posted what I considered to be funny materials on the W126 Forum before, but was typically met with tepid or no response (fucking serious-minded dweebs [;)]). However, in the OT, such posts were in abundance and greatly appreciated. There were serious political topics worth mulling over, but at my brain-atrophied state and waning attention span, I'd stay on the lighter side of things. Then there was the redhead everyone was after, from virgins to erectile-challenged to even the queers and poofs... don't need to elaborate too much on that. So my choices are 2,5,6 and 8.
