Thrill,
Are you perpetually grumpy?
You complain about WalMart--they dicide to cave in to public pressure and open up a bit. Instead of hailing this as a victory, you grump about it all being a plan to mislead the public.
It must suck to be you!
(You are appropriately self named)

I refuse to shop at Walmart because in addition to my income that is redistributed by the government, I feel a duty to pay the highest prices for commodity items possible.

A hammer for $7.94?

Not when I can find it for $13.24 somewehere else.

I seek the highest prices I can find.

I wish I could still lease an electric Honda for $699 a month that would go dead after 65 miles. Now that was a fine car. If only it were built by lesbians of color.

I think we need a living wage as a minimum wage. $100,000 a year would be about right. That way two working people could buy a house in California.

Costco is OK, of course. They contribute to democrats.

Teri Gross never makes snide comments about Costco.

I think we should make shopping at Walmart illegal.

But pot should be legal, since it is just an herb.

so harsh!

i shop there, they make lots of money, why cant their employees drive decent cars and live in safe neighborhoods?

what about the people that make the goods?

why should the administration of the giant hold all the money for themselves?

it just needs to be spread out a little better. paying wal mart employees more would pay everyone more. it is going to cost the consumer just as much, why not?

This signature removed to protect the innocent.

Walmart is bad. Those stores attract tornadoes.

They are also biased against the wealthy. Just walk down New York's Park Avenue or Chicago's Magnificent Mile. Not a single Wal-mart to be found. Barstards.

I find it amusing that people think they can run WalMart better than the peole who are running WalMart.
If you are sosmart, why don't you start your own retail business and show everyone else how its done?

"Walmart is bad. Those stores attract tornadoes."

It is not the store that attracts the tornadoes, it is the stores proximity to trailer parks and the residents of said trailers who shop in the Wal*Mart that attract the twisters.

In a study conducted by Dr. I.P.Freeley of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Severe Weather Institute, Dr. Freeley drew a direct correlation between the ionic molecules of a supercell and their apparent attraction to Shlitz, wife beater t-shirts and cheap wood paneling. The bonding appears amplified when coupled with aluminum skirts over tires and tiki torches.
