Churches should not own businesses

I went into subway tonight for a bite to eat. This subway has religious stuff all over the place. The employees told me that the church down the road owns it. That church also pays a fine of $50 a day because the 3 crosses on the property are over 30 stories high.

May-be it's a joint venture :

the church down the street uses salami slices for hosts. Which render a more realistic taste of the Christ Body to the faithfull.

What's the point? Is it not the Church IS the most successful business ever? Look at the Vatican. Can you think of any other business lasts 2K years?

Seeing as Scrubway is a franchised operation, I hope the home office will put a stop to this crazyness quickly. Just look at their new ad campaign:

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Re. Religion...

Follow the money. Follow the money. Follow the cotton pickin' freakin' money trail moron.
Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. Same old, tired, worn, torn, piece of junk story as it ever was.
Be above the law, and justify it as right, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

This concludes the brief history of civilization.
