Bush only three points from from tying Carter's record for lowest approval rating

Jimmy Carter holds the record for all-time low approval ratings, at 38 points. Bush continues to test the record, this week, even after his attempt to salvage his presidency in a speech given in NOLA, where he tried to pretend he was at "Ground Zero", even tho everyone could see he was standing in the middle of what used to be a US city. Will George finally break the record? Will the public's discovery that "compassionate conservatism" is really Liber-anarchy spell the doom for the GOP? We report, you decide:

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

That is really subtle, I got to hand it to whatever intern thought of that one.

If he's pulling this kind of dumb shit all the time, imagine what he's getting for it.

I am not saying he a is mastermind or a genius, but he is a very good puppet.

Polls are not news.
There was a Washington Times poll last week that showed low ratings for the President. The first on line edition of the story had a concluding paragraph on the demographics of the poll. It was conducted on 1200 people, including and oversampling of African Americans.
The paragraph was deleted from later postings.

Why would a respected news organization bias a poll by oversampling people likely to be critical of the President, and then delete that information? You don't suppose there is any agenda, do you?
You report and tell people for a long time some untruth and it becomes accepted---the liberal version of propagande; the big lie.

Iraq,9/11. Iraq, 9/11. Iraq,9/11. Iraq,9/11. Iraq, 9/11.
Do you mean like this?
BTW, is it your contention that EVERY poll in the country showing Bush's approval rating is down is a lie?

RE: Bush only three points from from tying Carter's record for lowest approval rating

We must remember, the difference between Bush's approval ratings dropping and "ruinning his presidency" and Jimmy Carter's approval ratings dropping is the plain and simple fact that Bush has already been re-elected by over 51% of the popular vote (something not done since his father in 1988). Jimmy Carter's approval ratings droped to a 38 and never recovered. He was then NOT re-elected in 1980!!
We also must remember that approval ratings change constantly! Yes, at the current moment Bush's are not up to par, however I remember just a few years ago (prior to the beginning of the Iraq war) when he was sitting on an 85% (or higher in some polls) approval rating!!
Not to mention, any president who would make decisions based on polls would be, in my mind, a very WEAK president. In this country we have a Representative Republic where we elect our leaders using the democratic process. We elected President Bush to office to make decisions in the federal government for us. If he continues to perform poorly, then his party will have a difficult time being elected again in 2008. But for now, if his approval rating is down, what difference does it make?? He's already been re-elected! If his approval rating dropped to 1%, it would not change the fact that he is the President!!

Is it possible to be conservative or moderate and oppose the mass murder of an unprovoked military invasion? Or is it simply that true conservatives recognize fiscal liberalism when we see it (reference unwarranted deficit spending)? Actually, for some it's both...

Please show the facts to back up the statement of unprovoked military invasion.
