I fail to see any valid point in guessing a response to a guessed number of deaths.
Are we " cheering" for a high number because that will somehow score political points? Sure seems like it.
A single death is terrible; are multiple thousands of deaths worse? Is there a calculus that allows you to score this on a political level?
So if the early estimates are way too high and the real deaths are substantially less, does that mean those affected suffered less?
I think the table that some use is as follows:
60,000 dead==impeach Bush
25,000 dead==impeach Bush
10,000 dead==impeach Bush
1 dead==impeach Bush
