As unpopular as it has made this country and I do more traveling around the world than the average american I know how unpopular we are in todays times. I also believe that it serves a wake up call for these other governments that times have changed and ignoring the problem will no longer be policy of this country.
Huh? We've been doing nothing BUT ignoring problems since Bush took office. Financial conservatism - ignored. National security - ignored. Rule of law - ignored. Finding the real killers - ignored. Diplomacy - ignored.
Man I was hoping you would get atleast one out five right but nope. I guess in your world all of the above have been ignored but you really should look at the definition of "ignored" first before you make such claims.
Like your quote at the bottom your rhetoric doesn't make any sense.
You have my sympathy.
I hate to say that Super Duce might have a point here.
The examples you list were not ignored, they were deliberately ignored. Thus, one can say they were given some thought so as to assure they would, indeed, be ignored.

I feel so miserable without you; its almost like having you here.

.....I agree the man has poor advisors and his decisions have been drastic to say the least.....
That really should be all that needs to be said. What else is he supposed to do, but pick people with the capability to provide good advice, and then make reasoned and wise decisions? For the record, the difference between a good decision and bad decision is that when you make a good decision, you never have to make that decision again. Bush makes poorly reasoned, "drastic" decisions regularly. Blame his advisors, but acknowledge he selected them, apparently another series of bad decisions. His record has established he is not equipped to run the country anywhere but down. He is by far the worst thing that has happened to this country in my lifetime. He is worse than someone who doesn't even try to achieve any specific goals, because what he does is far worse than responding randomly, or even doing nothing most of the time. Jim

If you heard what he said, you know that you are misrepresenting it, for political purposes. He bathed everything he said with sympathy for her loss. The "forged documents" quote is simply an allusion to the way the liberal press is running with this non story.
Its a misrepresentation and you are smart enough to know it.
You can't win hearts and minds with misrepresentations,
He's sooooo sympathetic...where is the misrepresentation again?

“Now, I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for the woman. I think she's taken the grieving process here to lengths that most people don't, and she's being fueled by all of this attention. But this is just a long way of saying I'm not -- you can call about it and you can talk about it but I just am not that worked up about it because, to me, it's sort of like -- I got an e-mail today from a guy said, "Rush, why aren't you talking about that radio scandal going on?" Why should I talk about it? Why should I talk about that, folks? There's a cardinal rule, when your enemy is destroying themselves, you shut up and you get out of the way and let them do it. And it's happening in countless areas and times on the left. Certain things you do need to give a little nudge, other things you just get out of the way.

But the longer the Sheehan thing goes on and the longer she's treated as some sort of super-celebrity by the press and the more outrageous things she says, trust me on this, the more people are going to get fed up with it. She's going to become the next Natalee Holloway before it's all said and done.
