Every contest among the Republicrats seems to pit two persons whom I wouldn't care to run, against each other. That's why I vote 3rd party. Maybe someday we'll break one or both of the parties. When that happens there will be a massive reshuffling. It needed to happen 60 years ago. I'm hoping it will happen in my lifetime.
Yeah, but you would voted him if he wasn't a lock. If Rove was a suspected child molester, would that have sway in some manner? I don't really see much difference...

RE: Rove 101

I wish I could believe that some other candidate, or major political party would be different. The fact is, there is no difference. In fact KV posted some time ago asking how the dems can regain power. That is EXACTLY the wrong question. Its a matter of doing whats RIGHT and then power comes to you. Trying to do it the wrong way simply empowers the wrong people. Eliminating Rove will not clean up politics at all. Neither will getting the money out of politics, as McCain/Feingold was supposed to do. Corrupt, power-hunger people seem to be the only candidates we get. I'm with Diogenes....looking for an honest politician.
I'm still looking.
( And his name is not John Kerry!, or Howard Dean)

Maybe its time for another anti-incumbant movement. If someone is in office they get voted out. Lets gets a whole new bunch of lying, corrupt politicans in there!

Don't you get it? You have made a personal choice to accept this low-life crap, and that is the true nature of the problem. Why wasn't the Bush campaign run out on a rail after the personal attacks against McCain and his family? Because you found it perfectly acceptable and voted for him -- that's why. Politics is sleazy for one reason -- because the America people have chosen to accept it. The corruption and sleaze that are rampant in politics isn't a given -- it's a choice that the American people have made -- and the election of our last two presidents proves it.

Maybe its time for third party candidates. The big two aren't really doing it for me, so why not try something else? That's what I don't understand about Americans---they bitch and moan about politicians but they keep choosing the same ones. That is, if they even bother to get up off their asses and vote.
So frustrating. I'm getting a beer. [xx(]

Well, I guess that it comes as no surprise that I see child molestation as a crime and a powerless advisory role as a eunuch position.

And what does this have to do with Rove? A powerless advisory does not describe Rove. And a eunuch abusing children is not some kind of a saint to welcomed into your home. Jim

A powerless eunuch position perfectly describes a job that has no appointed role or duty. His power is only that as advisor, meaning that he who receives the advise may use it or not with no consequences accruing to the advisor. Look it up. That's why Congress has no hand in the position and never has had a hand in it.

Who said anything about eunuchs abusing children? Take some time and read what I wrote. Saves bandwidth.
