Just curious, as for all I know you may have been at my shop, what was the complaint, what does the invoice say and dare I ask, what dealer?
I usually go to the Arlington Heights shop but I work far south so this was the Orland Park dealership.

I worked at Mark Motors for a little while -- I guess the place has a different name now.

Yes, They changed it about 2 years ago. I prefer that location. Seems less snooty and more gearhead-ish. I sat in a $120,000 CL with my dirty chef coat once and they didn't bat an eye.

I also worked at Loeber Motors (north) for several years -- the main difference between the two places was that Mark Motors didn't have a tavern right across the street. [:D] I swear, half the salesmen and techs at Loeber were plowed half the time. God help you if you brought your car in for service on Friday afternoon.

Yeah and it's not just car dealerships that like to rip us off.Follows a review i just read concerning a couple who visited Heston Blumenthal's 'The Fat Duck'Bray,London-heralded as the finest resaurant in the world, famous for it's pretentious Snail Porridge and Bacon and Egg ice cream.

My Wife and I went to this restaurant for our second wedding anniversary. I had heard alot about this place and expected something special. The decor was pleasant and that's where the Niceties end... ! The food was truly unique - not all to my taste, although I did like the trotters during the main course. Overall, I would never go to this place again at £150/head - a complete waste of money. I've been to several restaurants that experiment with food and come up with something that is at least edible. Experiment away but make sure it's fit for human consumption. Many of you will feel that I'm being harsh - but the other problem with this place was the service, the majority of the people were very welcoming and warm - which they would be at the price being made. However, the headwaiter was very rude - he should try and leave his manners back in France ! Overall I would rather spend £150.00 going to Euro Disney and visit Daffy Duck instead !
