RE: what we all do for a living

You know, you have to admit I had you going. I could tell by your responses. There was no indication what so ever that you were on to me. Don’t be mad, it was all in good fun. I’m not here to attack anybody but I can dish it out (in good fun), as well as take it. I’m not “Cap’n (I do remember him/her, though) but I do make regular contributions to another forum on this site -- one of the AMG forums.

So, carry on and I’ll check in from time to time.

I've had quite a bit of experience in this particular field.

Oh, different acid test -- never mind...
Interesting fact in "chemical warfare": Lysergic acid diethylamide was used by the USSR as an incapacitant. Jets would release LSD in the air over the enemy's troops ("crop dusters from heaven") and the red army would then take target shooting practices advancing through the crowds of hallucinating hippies.

I sense you would have loved being a dissident behind the iron curtain!

I feel so miserable without you; its almost like having you here.

You did seem to have at least a couple folks here going -- frankly, I was amazed.

I'm sure it was wildly effective. Not a bad choice actually, considering that it wears off after a few hours and leaves the "victims" no worse for wear. Actually, it reminds me of an old Firesign Theatre (I think?) bit -- "we'll never get outta this park"...

From Ex-Con to Royalty in 0 second flat!

Magnanimous, benevolent overseer, endowing us poor BW creatures with free will to post, you must be that righteous God everybody talks about.

I must say that I am somewhat disappointed by God's choice of a Mercedes vehicle. Admitedly, an AMG model is not to be frawned upon, not even the C coupe AMG Diesel, but I would have thought a Gullwing 300SL more appropriate, especially being that like you, it is timeless.

I feel so miserable without you; its almost like having you here.

I'm a Cathar, actually.
Okay, now that is really cool, if Provincale, for all the Aix and pains you bring to others. You're not Lyons, are you?
I think you need a lesson in Gnomish history. Gnomes are descended from Pope Gnomer I, who was discovered to have not only a mistress ( known only to history as Miss Gnomer) but a family of 122 misshapen children, misshapen because Gnomer was Bi-gnomial, resulting in the corruption of his seed. Charlemagne discovered this and engineered the banishment of Gnomer and his children to the Languedoc, probably because Ireland was already taken. They are cursed to forever live in the barns of Frenchmen. Gnomes are short, squat, and like to wear funny hats, so they have discovered that they can travel the world by hiding among the Mexican diaspora, making exotic travel easy because as everyone knows, even if you are eating in a resturant in Seoul, there are probably Mexicans washing the dishes there. Not only that, the odds that you will be sleeping in a barn are quite great. Myself, I have used this grapevine to enscone myself outside of Topeka, Kansas, where I live comfortably under the name of "Jose Quervo", in the barn of a French descendent named Pierre Gisgard D'estang. As Frenchmen, we gnomes are quite anti-American, but we have learned to stay out of politicals ever since that unfortunate thing when Gnomer II was window-peeking on Joan d'Arc, and his loud verbal expressions while masturbating become grossly misinterpreted by the poor girl.

I knew there was somethin' funny about you -- so you're a Quervo after all...

I'm Poly-gnomial. I was "recruited" by a Mormon troll.
