RE: Homophobes-stand to attention!

<G> How's that? I wish I were a Teenager. Actaully I am 33 years old and my better half is 42. I do have a very strong sence of humor which I guess makes me apear to be younger than I actually am.
Ok, please don't take this the wrong way.
The frequent interspersion of "lol" in your prose gave you away. I believe you're a teenager pretending to be gay!

Ok, please don't take this the wrong way either.
Time to shell out the $15 buckes for a keyboard with a functional [Enter] key. lol.

The use of abbreviations is very frequent in the teenager growd, supposedly because they use cell phones and instant messaging to communicate efficiently. To limit the typing to a minimum they are quite fond of the lol, pos (parent over shoulder...) and other abbrevs. It also helps them create a "dialect" that their elders find difficult to understand. Your frequent use of lol points to your young age, the picture in your avatar is probably your dad's.

33 y.o., been with your partner for 16 years, you were 17 when you officialized your relationship with your partner. Not much time for experimentation or experience. Are you sure he is the one? Could it be that he took advantage of the situation being the most mature, and probably most manipulative, in the relationship. I understand that love is very mysterious and quite illogical, but could you not find someone your own age? lol!

I feel so miserable without you; its almost like having you here.

RE: Homophobes-stand to attention!

LOL My mother said the same thing "couldn't you find someone your own age".lol Actually I was 17, we met 2 weeks before my 18th Bday. And I did date others before him. The term Slut comes to mind.lol I was very lucky to find someone at such an early age. I see many experminting or dating who contracted Aids. We are both very fortunate to have each other and not have Aids. As for the picture, no it's not my dad. The picture was a clip from an advertisement I did when I was younger. Check my name on the internet, you will find it in several places and see that yes I am now middle age. However I can't promise that I will ever admit to being older than 33. and LOL is very common in all my writings, as I am usually always smiling and laughing. And no I was not taken advantage of. If anything it was probally the other way around. When he was attending colleage at a university in the south, Playgirl Magazine did a spread on America's Hottest Campus boys, and He was the one they choose for the university. I was amazed, and looked him up. It was not suppose to be long term, I never invisioned myself with anyone long term. However after spending sometime with him, quickly realized he was much more than just a hot hunk, he was very well educated and one of the most caring people I had ever met. So it lasted.

I do know a little about what you mean with the Teen abrevations, even though our's is not a teenager yet. We have many friends who do have teenagers and have heard talk of this over many dinners. I love the POS I rember one friend talking about that, saying her Daughter does it everytime she walks in the room.lol
and as sappy as it may sound, I also want to say that I am very glad to see we were all able to discuss this as adults. I am certainly no expert, but am always willing to share a point of view and debate something with anyone who is willing to be open minded enough to listen.
One other serious thought I want to leave you with, As a teenager in a small town in the south, being gay was hell. So think about this, many belive it's a choice, some belive your born that way. If it's a choice, why would anyone choose to go through life being ridiculed, and harrased? I certainly think it would have been a little easier in some areas had I just been like everyone else.

Nice to hear some people downplay the overhyped significance of sexual preference. True.

I just want to say I am sorry you were put in this situation. I am sure it was very uncomfortable for you. Sounds like your friend needed some serious help.
I too went through something like that with a girl in high school. It was uncomfortable for me, but I would have given her to any of you guys, as I am sure you would have known what to do with her.lol Of course this girl now is divorced many many times, and has 6 children last I heard, and all by different fathers.

One day in the midst of a barbiturate binge, the guy hit on me....He was crying like a baby and shit. The most uncomfortable time of my life. As much of an asshole that he was, I felt sorry for him.

You have that over most of us. At the risk of generalizing from my own experience, not many dudes can say they live with a centerfold.
Still, it does not show that you have taken advantage of him, unless you are riding on the coat tails of his Playgirl found fame. Playgirl, that's an odd name for a gay magazine BTW!

RE: Homophobes-stand to attention!

No not riding on any fame.lol Actually Playgirl is a Magazine for Women. It's the spin off of Playboy the men's Magazine. The reason I found this out, being from the south, when it made news that playgirl was in town looking for a collage hunk, I spotted it in the news.lol so of course I had to look closer as you would if some hot babe in your local area made Playgirl. I myself am a interior decorator, and a Special events coradinator for nite clubs and product launches, when I am not busy as a parent, which takes up 90% of my time.

To all you good ol' boys who have recently expressed within these fora (we know who you are) both ignorance and abhorrence towards homosexuality,i bring to your attention the following TV programme being aired on British channel 4 tonight. This review is extracted from The Times and i particularly draw your attention to the last paragraph.

Oh no-there must be some mistake-the scientists have got it all wrong-it's gay propaganda-you wont catch me wearing a pink shirt!............

"This week Channel 4 balances raunch with research in Middle Sex, an impeccable investigation into the controversial worlds of intersex and transgender. Though it would have been easy to capitalise on the subject’s inherent shock value, the award-winning film-maker Antony Thomas (Death of a Princess; Flesh and the Devil) avoids any kind of sensationalism and, instead, pulls off an admirable attempt to demystify the biology and sociology of a condition that blurs the boundaries between male and female. Personal testimonies from adults and children document the immense physical, emotional and social difficulties endured by those who don’t conform to sexual norms. Footage from inside the womb illustrates how hormonal imbalances can lead to indeterminate genital development. Cross sections of brain tissue demonstrate the presence of female brain characteristics in dead male-tofemale transgenders. And homophobic men watching gay porn videos with sensors on their penises prove that the more men resist the notion of homosexuality, the more they are secretly fighting their own sexual confusion."
