Business or Econ major, MBA, International Law. Most important, learn to speak more than one language fluently. It is a Global Economy and you can write your ticket if you can converse with the up and coming markets such as China (Mandarin).

RE: where do you get your money from?

ok, the reason my dad wants a bmw 7-series is because they are more well known and he has already decided on the 7 series for sho.... im trying to talk him into a mercedes though... so you all say international law? is that because i would travel all around the world and can find cars easier? any of you know the average income of that would be?

RE: where do you get your money from?

some advice for you on getting a job this summer..

i am 21 and i've done all the "summer jobs" you can think of. the only one worth while (money wise) in my opinion is working at a restuarant as tipped income is the best as it usually involves cash. usually a restuarant will pay you minimum wage just to be there then the people you serve will pay you in cash. whether you bus tables or run food you are always serving someone and you will always be tipped out by either a customer or the server you work for. i pay for all my living expenses as well as school and my mercedes by working in a restaurant. when i graduate from college i will find a real job but while i am earning a degree, this job is great. so take it from me, the guy who has had every job you can think of, a restaurant is the best.

RE: where do you get your money from?

yea, ive been looking aound for places where i can be a waiter at... but most of them have people in their 20 ish. i haven't seen any kids my age ( 17 this july ) serving people. now ill start to look at not as big restaurants or something. maybe hometown buffet. that place sounds good.. all the food i can eat and tips :P i can at least dream. well for the games part, ive stopped playing videogames on my own. i go to my friends house and play halo/mario party/ and stuff like that and have a good time, but when im by myself.. not that much anymore. i sold my system to my brother a while back ( gamecube ) i just go the results from an aptitude test my school offered a month back and it says i can be pretty much what i wanted to do. score in the top 5% of all the people in the nation who took the test. i got a 53 out of 99 on auto shop :P well thanks for all the advice... i hope i get money!

RE: where do you get your money from?

Well that's a rather rude question. But, I see where you're coming from, I was there before.

My suggestion, get in with a small business that appreciates a hard worker.

I started working during the summer for a landscaping company when I was in highschool. Few years later, I only answer to the owner, I call the shots. The car is paid off, the bills get paid regularly, and I still have enough money to put aside at the end of the month.

I chose hardwork as my path. Working 10-14hr days, 5,6, sometimes 7 days a week. All physical labor. I suggest it for any able-bodied teenager. It'll teach you responsibility and the value of a hard day of work. It'll whip you into shape too, lifting heavy things all day, it'll either make or break you.
