Quite right Botnik (?), although due to networking difficulties I can't seem to load those links you provided, the last most accurate calculations I saw for this NEO had it passing at some 90-120,000km of Earth. Ridiculously close in astronomical terms but still about a third of the way to the Moon for us.
Of course there was still some error margin and I believe the real concern about this particular asteroid is its high iron content. About triples its destructive potential.
We genuinely don't want it to hit us. But nobody in the astro sciences community is really worried so far.
