One thing I'm gonna say to you, you tree hugger.

If you don't like the way the Rebuplicans run this great country, then LEAVE!

So that the rest of the people in this country can enjoy it without having complainers like you around.

Protestors, Hippies and Earth biscuits are the real Terrorist.
A hyprocritical hat trick. A complainer complaining about complainers. As far as money goes, you might be surprised how much those of us who don't brag about it have. I do want to thank you for offering a nice comparision to the like-named Democrat thread, which was civil and insightful for the most part - thanks for proving to everyone what the rest of us know - you are an excellant example of a typical Republican, a greedy little spoiled asshole.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

Again back to the shallow, materialistic, contrived, ignorant answers. I've called my local chapter of American Mensa and recommended you. Oh yeah, dipshit, a CLK 55 sells for more than an S 430 any day of the week at my dealership. Big discounts on base model S classes for wannabes. You're the kind of guy we all snicker and laugh at when you pull up in you're debadged S Class and we all say "430". Surprised you don't have fake AMG badges on your ride. Not only are you consumed by shallow things, but you can't even do them well. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Please remeber, I tried to apologize right after I made my first post. Big man. This one's for you:

Fine, Truce. I don't understand how we can get this far in this tread. I'm sorry, but you started the first insults. POLITICS - NO BODY EVER WINS!
I'm finished with this subject, good day to you all.
you're the one who started shit and looking like a fool...

RE: What's really wrong with the Republicans?

all i can say is wow. i am 21 years old, i drive a 2004 c230 kompressor that i bought on my own, i work in a restaraunt part-time, and go to school full-time. i love mercedes benz so i always stop by to read the forums and i stumble on this post. kvinning is always posting interesting articles on politics so i usually read them. i am registered as a republican but that doesnt mean i always vote repulican. i used to look up to man-du-gras because he seemed like an accomplished individual and his responses were usually intelligent. funny how i draw a blank on what i should say next. maybe its because i have nothing else to say.

RE: What's really wrong with the Republicans?

Gentlemen, at the end of the day, we all have our seperate opinions, and I personally respect all of them. In my place of business, Religion, Politics and Gender is never to be discussed because no body is ever right or wrong. If we dwell on differences between humans, there will always be war. (sadly this WILL always be the case)

I will appologize for most of my comments on this tread. I was in my office, bored all day and stressed out. I should have kept my opinions to my self, instead I responded on kvining's tread bait. Not everyone needs to hear or say what you have to say. Specially in a public forum.

The tread caught my eye and fell into his bait. Treads like this directly attacks a certain group of people. Unfortunately, my group. Think if the tread title was:

"What's really wrong with....a certain race, a certain gender, a certain color...." the list would go on. It would not be a pretty site, not to mention deleted by the mods. (as most of Kvining's political attack treads should be)

So for argument sake, Lets not attack on any group of people and try to keep the peace in Benzworld.

Again, my appologies for being an a-hole in my posts. But then again this may just be the type of person I am.

04' G500 (G-Wagen) Benz (sold) <== we trully miss her.
04' Range Rover <== Traded with an Audemars Piguet RG Royal Oak Montoya =)
07' BMW 750Li <== traded this in, economy is down.

10' Acura TL w/ Tech package. (I'm loving this new ride)
09' GL320 BlueTec Black on Black w/ Everything except the grille guard.
08' Gallardo Spyder on HRE's

RE: What's really wrong with the Republicans?

Okay, now that we've all linked arms and sung several verses of Kumbaya, let's get back to dumping on Republicans.

The party has no more honor or vision or principles than the Democrats. They both will do anything to hold power or wrestle it from their opposition. They are like the Half-Blacks to the Democrats Half-Whites. In the process of tearing each otehr apart they are threatening the basic trust and comity necessary for democracy.

The major difference between the two parties is the funding constituencies to which they are beholden. Looking at a list of their respective individual major contributors, I'd rather have lunch with a boatload of cajun shrimpers than any of those mofos. With cajun shrimpers, at least I'd be able to tell my wife who my friends are without making her mad at me.
