i was reading an article couple of days ago and they were saying that the bomb that they used to kill El Hariry (Allah yer7amo w yer7amna gami3an) the only country that own this kinda bomb is Isreal and it was there benefit to kill him... don't blame it on the Syrian even though they r back stabbers..
It could have been Israel, I don’t completely exclude this possibility but I doubt it. The events on the ground prove otherwise.

- Nobody can predict the future, so nobody predicted the feelings of anger after the assassination. There’s no way that Israel could have planned and predicted it that everything will blow in Syria’s face.

- The Lebanese government acted as if it was an ordinary crime, and even wanted to discuss other matters in parliament the day it resigned in face of popular protests. They expected a week or two of grief, and then things would go back to normal. Well it backfired.

- Syrian President threatened Hariri’s life by saying he was willing to burn Hariri and Joumblat (another opposition leader) if Assad’s word is broken in Lebanon. This is also clearly stated in the UN report.

- Another assassination attempt on another opposition leader was tried unsuccessfully in October 2004. The investigation is ridiculous and preposterous.

- The Lebanese refused an international inquiry at first.

- There is evidence of Lebanese security teams showing "systematic negligence" in performing their duties. There is also evidence of tampering with the evidence. People were found dead in the scene of the crime 2 weeks after it happened. Unrelated evidence was planted in the scene…

All this is very suspicious.

I don’t think that Israel is responsible for all this. In addition, an exact specification of the bomb hasn’t been discovered yet, to accuse on this basis. All what is known that it’s a 1 ton (2,200 lbs) TNT bomb.
Hey,

just to answer SHEBL im From Toronto Canada,

and Silver Arrow if you have looked in history Isreal have been trying to break us up since they came and took our lands, they wana have control over the area. From what i c is that they have saw that EL Harir was the most powerful person in Lebanon so why not to kill him they is for sure too many benefits for they i would say now but down the line in the next couple of years. Never forget that they took over the paslestiniaz land, or lebanons land or Egyptian lands or syrian land. how can i not say that it was them. and about the bomb that was used it a new kind of bombs that even the US doesn't one of them, it a bomb that can resist water for a long period of time and can be controlled also when it's underwater.

RE: MY PRIME MINISTER ASSASINATED

Frankly, I have to disagree.

If you want to go back to history, Syria has a handful of high profile assassinations. As a matter of fact, the major assassinations were carried by Syria or on their parts. From opposition leader Kamal Joumblat ((1976), Lebanese President Bachir Gemayel (1982), Lebanese head cleric Hassan Khaled (1986), Lebanese President Rene Mouawad (1989), failed attempt on opposition member Marwan Hamadeh (Oct.2004), and last but not least Hariri (Feb.14,2005). So history doesn’t play in Syria’s advantage either.

Killing Hariri because he’s a powerful man is not an enough justification for a full scale assassination attempt by Israel. Being a threat to Syrian influence by being such a powerful man is a stupid but motivated crime by Syria possibly.

In addition to that, I’m not going to repeat all the reasons mentioned earlier. And if Israel is behind this, then we should accuse the Lebanese intelligence officers and leaders to be Israeli agents by showing "systematic negligence" in performing their duties and tampering with the evidence. They were trying to hide something, so they are covering up for Israel. I find that hard to believe.

Another thing, the Lebanese and Syrian government first refused to allow an international probe by the UN. Very suspicious activity. Now they are both allowing it under pressure, and as a result of the UN preliminary fact finding report which you should read. You can find it online.

One last thing, what’s particular about the bomb used is its weight more than anything else. Any 1 ton bomb would have catastrophic results.

RE: MY PRIME MINISTER ASSASINATED

These are two photos I got today from the scene of the blast on Feb.14. They show the former Economy Minister Bassel Fleihan with 95% body burn. He was sitting next to Hariri in the car. Luckily and miraculously he’s still alive. He’s still in intense medical care in France. Daily prayers are held for him.

Warning: Very brutal images. If you’re a sensitive viewer, don’t look down.

RE: MY PRIME MINISTER ASSASINATED

I would like to make a remark on this topic, not that I have a logical explanation of what happened or even evidence behind what I’m accusing, but I think it’s simpler and more obvious that it seems. Everyone knows that politics is a dirty game and it has its own drastic measures in order to achieve its aims. Regardless of whom assassinated Hariri, I think that what happened in Lebanon will be another excuse for the American government (no offence to all American citizens whom I love and have nothing against them) to spread their bases in the Middle East and gain some control over the area. I think that their existence in the region will also comforts Israel. I am a proud (peaceful) Saudi who hates acting blind and therefore I think it’s safe to say that Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq are already filled with American bases. Now Lebanon and Syria seems to be next on the list. So good luck and fingers crossed
