RE: Let those North Koreans starve
regretably, I'm conviced that if the US went war with N.Korea or any other substantial opponent, we would lose......until the pussified sector of the population were either dessimated by the enemy, or convinced that thier own death were emminant unless REAL war tactics were approved.
What are REAL war tactics? The will to do whatever it takes to win and provide for the greater good. Invariably, there will be the horrified critics. There are those in this thread. What gives a nation real power is an unwaning focus on self interest, regardless of who is offended. If someone wants to judge the US based on our use of nuclear weapons, You know what they say in Russia.....TOUGHSKI! We maintain a position of power through ambivilant consideration of foreign opinion and unwaning focus on self-interest. In this world strength and unity ensures the longevity of a nation/people. I have no doubt that long term weakness and pussification will invite agression and the attempt to acquire what is now the US through force. Impossible? Historically, the weak have always been swallowed by the strong.
We have the most potential for conquest of any other nation ever. Juxtapose that with the least desire to act in a unified manner of any nation in the world now. En fine, we are relatively impotent. The dangerous part is that we won't admit it until we are involved in a ground conflict. Then, it is too late. We all seem to join the "support the troops" chant. However, the Q becomes; Is it possible to support the troops and encourage the opposition in the same breath?
