I don't have any experience with "real world" stalkers.
But trolls on the internet could be defined in many ways.
Would I be considered a troll if I continually can on here and only posted to the off topic forum.
I don't know, you tell me. Kinda like pissing into the wind, you might get wet.
If you are referring to me, you are not being very accurate. I post regularly on the SL forum here, in fact even when we went back to Mercedesshop I continued to post there. If you don't believe me, ask Germanstar, he moderates it. In any case, I think a person is free to post as much or as little as he wishes if the site allows it.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

[:D] Kirk, you asking about the rationale of online trolls is somewhat akin to a shapely woman in hot pants wondering why men stare at her.
I think he might be reffering to the obsessed individual who has taken it off the board and onto the phone...etc.....

As political polar opposites as I am with Kirk I would never go as far as calling his house unless he gave me his number and asked me to.

Someone who goes to the effort to find his number and call him out of spite I would agree is more than a bit obsessed. Now I am just assuming there is some coorelation to a thread he had reffering to such a thing.
Someone took it that far. I don't know if it is this current guy, but that certainly is an example of the kind of obsession I'm talking about.

It took Google all of 0.06 seconds to get KV's phone number and map to the address. That's not much effort. You must admit that using your full name and giving your hometown out on the net is foolhardy.

Well in any case calling anyones house for the expressed purpose of harassment is definately over the line..................even for someone who lives down the street.

I am in total agreement with you that anyone doing that is WAY, WAY over the line.........that is beyond being a troll.....that is being a stalker.

If you are referring to me in any way.......I may find very few common thoughts with Kirk but I agree with him on this one.

VD has agreed with me on something. I may be having a mild heart attack shortly. If I don't post again, call 911.
