Okay, Okay, that was poor planning
Well i've been faced by Mrs. Azimuth. That's just GREAT![:(!]
I've been building another bedroom in the basement. After I framed it, Mrs. Azimuth comes down to inspect the progress and kibitz as usual. So she says, Mr. Azimuth, don't you think you ought to have removed the leather sofa from the room first? How silly, I say. They make couches to be moved in and out of standard door widths. Conversation over.
Skip ahead two weeks. After running electrical, hanging and taping drywall, installing the finish package, prepping for paint, i was ten minutes away from priming and I think, "Hey, instead of covering the couch let's remove it from the room."
I call Mrs. Azimuth down to help. The DAMN thing will not fit through the STANDARD size door opening! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Mrs. Azimuth leaves the room and I fall to my knees.
I had to cut out the door, framing and header to get it out. Now I have to redo that entire door system from framing to finish package/prep for paint.
