RE: Record earnings for private jet manufactuers...

Some people love to work, some people loathe it. I, for example, love to work. If you really enjoy your job, its easier to work. I have alot of variety in what I do and what I have done. Unfortunately, quite a few people have no option for variety. Some people need and desire a sense of accomplishment. I have that desire. If you work hard and things aren't coming together as you wish or you are unhappy, I'd attempt persuing a new line of work.

There is nothing more miserable than being miserable.

I work hard to be where I am at and enjoy my financial freedom. But what pisses me off is some companies get a way with not paying taxes. FedEx made a deal not to pay a certain tax with the city of Memphis. My friend writes of his skybox, and he never uses it for business. The other day, my tax accountant wanted me to have my business head quartered in Delaware on paper to avoid some tax.

As I see it, the tax burden is on small businesses and the people. We should have a simple low tax with no deductions. And that means companies like FedEx should pay their taxes.

I know of a CPA who tries to enroll all his clients as independent long distance reps, for excel, regardless of their real line of work. He then proceeds to write off sorts of stuff as biz. expenses. Of course the biz runs at atotal loss with no revenue.

They should all be locked up!
