Piano/88-key electric keyboard prices

I'm looking for either a nice used upright piano, or an electric 88-key electric keyboard. What would you say are the running prices for each one of these items? Just PM me if you know.

Your question is much like asking

I'm interested in a used car, or perhaps a motorcycle, would you know the prices of them?

A few details might be helpful. If there's a piano tuner in your area, that's a good resource into finding a used one in your neck of the woods.

A good upright is much better than a studio or console, since the harp and soundboard is so much bigger.

I'm still looking for a piano too but I'm looking for a grand under 6ft. Have you tried looking in the classifieds section of your newspaper? I went out and bought the Piano Book by Larry Fine. He gives a depreciation schedule on page 203. For example, a 5 year old piano in "worse" condition is worth 71% of its original value. 74% if Average, and 77% in Better. A 10 year old piano is worth 59, 62, and 65 percent respectively.

All hail the Sixteen Men of Tain!
