RE: Washington Times: Bush stabs conservatives in the back over Illegal Aliens
Its obvious your opinion and mine differ on unions. I was a high-rise iron worker for a few years, and as such was a member of the IWIU, which means I still get to go down to the hall for a couple pops once an awhile. I did it for four years, and then used the money I made to put myself thru college. I was also in the Baker's union for a year or so. Considering the fact I made more money as an ironworker than I ever did working behind a desk for some corporation, it was a pretty good gig, if you don't mind putting your life on the line every day.
Just in case you think you got the balls for it:
Those traitorous corporations wouldn't be jack if they didn't have people working for them. It's not surprising you would support them even when they sell out your own country. Like most right wingers, patriotism for you just means a bunch of flag waving horseshit, the fact your country has been invaded and you got suckered into it by pigs who wanted to make a buck doesn't even occur to you you've been so AM Radio brainwashed.
I own and run my own business, and its a corporation. Don't give me some propaganda story about how we all need to bow down and kiss corporate ass, and that its ok for a businessman like me to sell my own country down the toilet because I want to make a buck, just because I am a businessman. These businesses who hire illegals, thanks to the bribed Republican Party, are betraying their own country, and laughing all the way to the bank. They run honest business who only hire real Americans out of business. If thats ok with you, then that says a lot about you. The people who feel stabbed in the back by Bush's latest plan to flood the country with illegal aliens are not union workers, they are small businessmen like me, who compete honestly, and they are 99% republican. They know that big corporations want to bring in millions of illegals, so the smaller business won't be able to compete. This isn't a liberal issue, its an American issue. Multi-national corporations have allegience to no country, there only allegiance is to a buck.
