That's one of the reasons why the Libertarians or any other third party never make any headway - thier supporters are afraid to vote for them.
I have almost ALWAYS voted Libertarian. This is one of the ONLY times I have not done so in the past 10 or 12 years.
And for me to not do so, there has to be an OVERWHELMING reason that sways my decision.
Keeping John Kerry far, far, FAR away from the White House, and keeping a President around in these critical times that is willing to take the fight to our enemies BEFORE they bring the fight here again.....Those were quite overwhelming reasons for me to change my vote. I still beat myself up about it, but it was a neccessary sacrifice.
If there is a Libertarain candidate for a local office, I vote for him or her. Also for Congress, and of course the Presidency, under "normal" circumstances. Hell, there were even some local races here where a Republican or Democrat was running unopposed, so I wrote MYSELF in as a Libertarian candidate!
I'm afraid to vote for my party? You're speaking of things you know nothing about.
