"If it bleeds, it leads." Getting sick of the media.
I've got the news on in the background as I do some clerical work on the computer here in my office.
They just broke in to show live video of firefighters battling a garage fire in Los Angelas.
No offense the people who live in that house, but what's the big deal? Fires happen all over the country every day. What makes this a national story of any significance? Is it a terrorist attack?
Last week they did the same thing when a yacht caught fire somewhere. No significance whatsoever.
This is one of the biggest problems with the media, esecially television.
Sometimes I'm embarrassed to work in this field.
