Just another radical conservative war monger right? Consider this:
There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month of January..... In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January.
That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war torn country of Iraq.
When some claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following ..
FDR...led us into World War II.
Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per
Truman...finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,334 per year.
John F. Kennedy...started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
Johnson...turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.
Clinton...went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us President Bush has ...liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own
The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.
We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick, with his date
still inside the car.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!
Perspective is all in where you're sitting folks.
Man, that is full of lies. Germany declared war on the United States, genius. It was considered Hitler's greatest blunder, because many in the US felt we would have our hands full with Japan. What you are saying is patently false. If you want a WWII comparision, here it is: We attacked Iraq in the same exact manner that Hilter attacked Poland, right down to the pre-war disinformation blitz and propaganda build up. A page right out of the Nazi's book, thats what your boy Georgie is.
In your remark on "39 Killings in Detroit", not only do you not mention that thousands of innocent Iraqis died also in that month, you also don't mention that in September, over a 100 were killed, and if you put it on a graph, the number is doubling about every three months. You also seem to think little of the 5,000 soldiers who were maimed and wounded.
In Korea, South Korea was a UN Mandate territoryy - it was under the protection of the UN and we were obligated by treaty to defend it, and we did so under the UN flag, not the US flag. It began when North Korea invaded the south, not when Truman attacked someone. Truman acted according to treaty, and to protect our new ally, Japan.
Your point on Vietnam is exactly true - in that case we attacked a weaker nation, attempted to occupy it, and we lost. Is that supposed to make some kind of point for your argument? It certainly says to me that we are making the same mistake in Iraq.
Clinton went to war in Kosovo under the NATO treaty. Serbian atrocities against Muslim populations threatened to draw Turkey and Greece and Russia into the conflict, setting up the exact same scenario as World War I, and holding the possibility that the NATO alliance, of which both Turkey and Greece were members, would be shattered. The "Bosnia never attacked us" is a stupid argument - the Bosnians welcomed us as protectors from Serbian genocide, and they welcome us stationing thousands of troops there today for that very same reason. Have you some news of car bombings in Bosnia the rest of us haven't heard?
The other stuff on Clinton's failures with Bin Laden and all the Clintonoid paranoia on the rest of your assertions, along with the above, just shows the depth of your thinking on these matters. Just another guy who thinks in AM Talk Radio slogans.
