RE: Anybody do high school reunions?
My high school was pretty small. There were only 14 in my graduating class of '83, and that was the largest class to date! I attended a small Catholic high school. BTW, how many here can honestly say that they were in the top 14 of their graduating class? [:D]
About three years ago, we organized a tribute dinner to the founder of our school, so that was pretty much the one and only reuniion of any kind. Anyone who was an alumni was welcome, and I got a chance to see many of my former classmates once again.
I was fortunate to attend that school. For the most part, all the students there were top-notch people to begin with, and are still so today. Most have become successful, money not being a necessary factor. It means a lot to me to see former friends happy and with new families-- regardless of their income.
And yes, it did make me feel good to walk in there in great physical shape! (Hair, or lack thereof, notwithstanding!!)
