RE: Did I just hear Dick Cheney imply that the current admin wants to close S-corp tax advantages?
I thought Cheney was better prepared and when he fired a bullet, it did a better job of hitting. Both spent too much time trying to clean the stink the other one just sprayed on them. Edwards voice is too squeaky when he gets defensive.
I still cannot believe the Democrats have not dissected and addressed the flip-flop crap and the "global test" statements with clear, concise, and definitive responses.
The Iraq flip-flop issue is a direct result of supporting the President with a Resolution that had conditions, and then having the President ignore the conditions and go directly to war with Iraq, and so on. The flip-flops on Iraq being cited come from dealing with what slowly became known as a liar in the oval office.
As for the "global test" the moderator read the words and they clearly say the facts, criteria and motives for going to war need to meet a standard so that when you have to justify what you did, you can. The statement is clearly a past tense justification for a preemtive action. The discussion assumed the President was going to have to act in the United States best interest without time to build an international coalition. This needs to be addressed directly, using the actual words from Kerry's mouth.
