RE: "Gay Marriage" issue dies with a thud
Yes, of course we offer family benefits to our married employees. I don't know if you've noticed, but companied today are cutting some benefits altogether or making the employee pick up a larger share of the fixed costs. Some large companies are acually just dismembering their retirement benefits for employees who have already retired and count on those benefits. Believe me, unless you own a niche company, rolling in liquidity, you are not looking to expand your benefit package.
I have many hobbies and collect many fine things. I deal with gay people on a weekly basis. Some of the best conversations and meals I've shared have been with gays. Other than the marriage thing, I really have few problems with them.
Oh, one more thing, went to Disneyworld last year year. I had never been, and had a great time. However, one weekend had been designated Gay Weekend. The overt acts of affection between Gays, in front of so many young children was, in my mind, apalling!
