RE: Heinz-Kerry: What a Mutt
You had a post on here that you just deleted. Here's my reponse to it anyway:
I agree, and also apologize to you personally if my posts here have offended you (but not to the other Vermin on this site). I'm having fun with all of this and don't want to offend anyone.
My vote and my voice count but I don't think it's going to sway anyone around here and come Election Day -- may the best man win, though I hope it's Bush mainly because I'm a somewhat conservative Republican and want a conservative person in office.
Bush is the incumbent and regardless of party affiliation the incumbent is an easy target. But, I have to admit, that if I were on the other side of the political fence Bush would still be an easy target but so was Carter, Clinton, Reagan, and others. They're not perfect men, but who is?
Personally, I don't like the US involvement in Iraq. It just pains me to hear of our solders being picked off over there. Knowing what I now know, I wish we hadn't gone over there. But that's the problem, like most people I believed there were WMDs in Iraq (I'm confident that Bush believed that too) and I believed that Iraq needed to be freed from Saddam (that part of it I don't regret).
Overall, if Kerry is elected he'll inherit a mess in Iraq (just like Bush inherited a souring economy) that I don't think anyone really expected to happen.
