Iraqi plot -- coincidence, I think not!

What's wierd is I don't remember getting any ash fallout up our way. It mostly headed east.
Now if Mt. Rainier, or Baker decide to blow [:0]

Gosh I remember that. The televised images from flyovers conveyed unbelievable devastation -- absolutely jaw-dropping.

Here's a live web cam of the mountain, so you'll know when to start running:

Spokane got absolutely dumped on, but Olympia only received a slight dusting, due to prevailing winds. Rainier freaks me out the most. If that giant lets go, we're all in for it.

I saw a thing on the Discovery Channel on the Yellowstone Supervolcano, which, when it goes off, will most likely annihilate a great many of us west of the divide, with a nuclear winter to follow. Assuming that you Washingtonians are steeped in Vulcanology the way us Gulf Coasters are aware of hurricanes, perhaps you know this - is St. Helens part of that overall system, that is, does it sit on the same underlying fault as Yellowstone? Does the underlying vulcanism compare to the Yellowstone super structure? In other words, if that thing goes off, will I be sweeping pieces of you guys (in the form of volcanic ash) from my driveway ?
I don't know if anything from Yellowstone would reach washington state, however the blast would take out everything in it's way. The Calduras in Yellowstone are hot spot volcanism, and are somewhat tied in with the Volcanos along the West Coast.
