Why worry about bioterrorism? We’re poisoning ourselves with calories.
What will the cost to the economy be over the next many years? What about those thousands of teenage girls who suffer from eating disorders, because of these constant claims of America becoming too fat? It costs a lot to eat healthy – I wonder if this somehow relates to overstressed poor people eating to much cheap starchy food.
Maybe it’s an economic indicator. As I travel around, I see more fat people the farther I get away from the beach; the cheaper the standards of living are. It seems greater in lower socioeconomic areas. WAZZUP.

RE: FatLand

I personaly believ it's just lack of activity. most Americans are rather sedentary and tend to take their cars even for a 2 block trip to the convinience store...

I also don't think it's a matter of money. I eat cheaper then most folks I know and I eat good and healthy. That's another thing, i don't know of anybody that eats 2k-3k in calories. it's almost always way more. I big mac meal is over a 1k cal. so it's pretty easy to go way over.

People in the mid-west are the fattest imo and that's prob in part to food availibility and lack of places to be active. People is cities look more healthy but living in a big metro area is more condusive to walking, biking, etc...

in political asylum
