Why doesn't the electorate hate Bush?

Given that every bad thing posted against Bush on this Forum is absolutely correct and without any error or misperception or even complete lying freaking fabrications, why is the American electorate so misguided as to support this guy over JFK?

They can't all be bribed-away by Halliburton, can they? Bush hasn't some mind-control ray working through even thickest foil hat, has he?

I don't get it. Maybe Americans are stupider then we assume.

I thought fear caused hatred. Isn't that what we say about the Iraq?

What was that quote about a company never going broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public?
Do you ever watch Jaywalking on Jay Leno? That should help answer your question.

As with most elections, its a contest between two ( or more) candidates. In this case, the country is ( apparently) not comfortable with the left fringe of the democrat party. If they had nominated a moderate or conservative, democrat, I believe it would have been very close, or even a run away from the President.
( Nice to see some familar names around here!)

RE: Why doesn't the electorate hate Bush?

The Bush team has become expert at using fear as an inducement to get people to vote a certain way. It is working very well for them. In addition, Kerry was advised to play "nice guy", which is like advising a guy in a gang fight to sing a nice song. Kerry made the same mistake Gore did, which was to not use Clinton's attack dog team. Kerry has now fixed that, something Gore did not do, so I think now he has a fighting chance, but it may have been to late.

Also, given the state of the polls, whether Bush has majority support is a judgement call anyway. Two more came out yesterday, Pew and Harris, saying we are back to a 50/50 split. The constant barrage of bad Iraq news is taking its toll.

A small group of better informed/more intelligent/clearer thinking folks will bring to light the evils of the administration and educate/lead the masses too stupid or lazy to think/see/understand this on their own. I think Lenin called it the Vanguard Theory.

Now if we can just get the herd of 300 million stupid cows to subscribe to benzworld...

...uh, Kerry is a weak candidate, and the media doesn't deem it interesting or appropriate enough to bother us with examinations of other alternatives to Shrub?
