As for Oligarchy, thank you for the 6th grade Social Studies lesson. Although it might be a new term to you, I'm quite familiar.
How can it be a NEW term for me, when I used it first dork (in retribution for calling me a jerkoff)? As for 6th grade, I used it in the FOURTH grade, when my dad brought me TIME and NEWSWEEK regularly as reading material when all the other children were still reading 'Archie' digests.
If anyone is unfamiliar with world politics, it is most defiantely you. Whilst you read about foreign republics and different forms of governement, I lived and visited them.
I went to private school with Hans Blix's son, Goran and befriended the US Ambassador's daughter in Europe. My friends were either high-ranking children from the State Dept. or the military. I was invited at the US Ambassador's residence, and served by butlers whereupon even the napkins had the seal of the United States. Educated using the top teachers and learned several languages (of which I know four) one of which is German. My father worked for the IAEA (UN) and almost as a result lived at the UN headquarters and shopped at the UN commissary, feasting on foreign foods that you will probably live-and-die and never taste. I played model ambassador (represented Germany) and used official UN library documents to represent the country's standpoint. Not bad for a 15 YEAR OLD!!
But silly me. I'm sure with your public schooling and spouting of regurgated Fox news channel, you WOULD know more about foreign politics.
I was an undecided. Until I read Merouby's rant. If he is representative of what the Democrats are about these days, and what the Kerry supporters are made of, I want no part of it.
