You are right, the disgusting sight ( It didn't look so bad in the thumbnail) is only surpassed by the disgusting taste. I was invited to a 'Burns night' in NYC once, the only time I tried haggis. It's making me gag just to think about it. Talk about 'hoist by one's own petard'

Meanwhile, BenzDevil is busy tracking down chill_babe in STL, depleting tissue paper supply in the entire state of Missouri.

Highland Park is one of my favorites (IMOP, neighbor Scapa is overrated). Your mention of Glenfiddich made me dig out a bottle of their 15 Year old cask strenght. Favorite foods: Persian, N. African, Indian, Hungarian.

*edit*
^^^^ hey, what's going on? I did not write the last sentence above... somebody feeding words in my mouth?

Jilly,
Glenfiddich is considered food only if you take it with toasted Pop Tarts. IMO, Highland park, with hints of heather honey, will go better with Pop Tarts. Don't forget to eat some navel oranges too - need some fiber and vitamins in your diet.

Yuk Italian! I grew up on daigo food and as for Chinese food not the crap we get here in USA that is just wok crap with a ton of sugar dumped in it not real chinese food that does not even taste near the same or look the same.

the best I have had has been in my recent travels to a few other places in this world and got my addiction to Fish sauce.....yeah yeah I know! however for a favorite I like the delicate flavors of japan and other regions like that where it is not all hot shit! and you can not taste what you really are eating ( next on my list to to go to China) my best friend will be there for the next 2 to 3 years so!!!!
