What is the point then?
Ratso, no one will confront you syaing that abuse does not exist or that abuse is not to be eliminated, but your statement is obscene in that it thrives to justify that because there is a fringe out there abusing the system, the system should not exist. I submit to you that more honest people are being helped as they should than there are ugly a$$holes abusing the system, and that makes it all worth it.
BTW, in your OT thread, you quoted scriptures, Matthew 7 verse 1. "Judge not, that ye be not judged" (King James, you used another one)
I stand here syaing that this is one of the most misunderstood scripture as verse one alone is completely out of context and if you read the whole, you would understand that While it is true that all judgment is left to God, Matthew 7 does, indeed, allow us to judge others (within reason), provided that we do not have the same faults within ourselves. Verse 2 says, For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. So we are allowed by verse 2 to judge others, but however we judge them, we will be judged ourselves. His addressing the HYPOCRITS here.
Since you love scriptures, and seems to vow to live by them as best you can...
You think these social programs have no place?
"Whatever you do unto the least of these, you do unto me."
I think you'll find more enjoyment in going back to His word yourself and judge for yourself if he would not be gratified by what you do unto the least of these...
Please belioeve that in saying that to you, I am only motivated by love.
“I feel so miserable without you; it’s almost like having you here.”
