RE: toronto international autoshow
the SLR was the show stopper. people just standing there in awe. benz salesmen busy mopping up drool.
the gallardo was a sweet looking little exotic. many liked it better than the murcielago. i like the edges, more countach than diablo inspired.
the BMWs were UGLY. the sales guy left the trunk open to show how much room there is but i think its just so people won't notice how badly it makes the car look.
the saleen was interesting. $600,000. sold through a dealer in montreal. street legal.
the smart cars created quite a stir.
a shame the new SLK wasn't there.
benz had the best display.
VW phaeton, $100,000.
cadillac XLR, the SL has no competition.
new bently, very ugly, hints of CLK.
new rolls, looks like a truck.
new vette, not bad, still cheap.
new mustang, mach inspired, looks slow.
jaguar station wagon, stretched ford contour.
ferrari, no enzo this year
nothing exciting from japan, where's the new NSX?
just my opinion.
