Japanese Luxury

As Lexus now seems to be recognized as a 'Luxury' brand in the UK, why arn't Infinitis or Acuras sold in Europe?

Because in EU you don't have to rename a moniker to sell it for more like you have to in the US, every where else the NSX is a Honda.

the price of the acura nsx and honda nsx are equivalent, given currency exchange rates. same with all honda products that are sold in the us and other parts of the world. honda is better recognized in europe as selling a wide variety of vehicles. acura was developed to give honda a better chance of competing with bmw or equivalent. but, if it was a marketing flop, the acura name could go away and the honda name would not be as affected. think about the whole ford edsel situation.

Because Lexus is better than Acura and Infiniti, IMO.

RE: Japanese Luxury

ive yet to ride in a japanese automoble that even remotely resembled a luxury one.

theyre akin to a blender.

wait... is that leather and fake wood supposed to make it a luxury car instead of the accord or camry that it really is?

There is an understated Toyota that is little known outside Japan that will easily blow away majority of luxury cars.

2006 Acura RL is the only luxury vehicle from Japan that has impressed me.

Is this for real?

Don't know why but I like it. Reminds of the 70's undercover cop cars.
