I have a 1991 500sl. I had the ignition key fail. fortunately thanks to this site I was able to get the ignition switch out. Once I got the new tumbler and had it re-keyed to suit my original I tried to put it back together. Agter sliding the electrics into the ignition case and getting it to seat properly I cannot turn the key at all. Anyone have any clues? Thanks for any help I get.
