I've seen three in person...

I live car crazy Bay Area, CA, and I've seen three of these beautiful beasts.

One was in the showroom of Autobahn Motors with ropes around it, no touching allowed.

One was in a parking lot by the theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.

The third I saw today in Daly City, Ca driving west towards Highway 280. Curiously -- at least to me -- it had Missouri plates. Personalized with a vermin reference on the tag. If that's you and you're a member who is checking the forum while on vacation, pm me, I'll buy you a beer.

I'm going to guess that these cars are as much fun to drive as I think they are. Congrats to you lucky folks who own them.

Haha I saw one the other week by crissy fields in SF

I saw my First SLR in black with a tiny women driving it in London.
Second was at my Local Dealership, it was not roped off. I was laying on the floor of the showroom to look at the flat bottom underneath, one thing I found disapointing was the large matt plastic rear diffuser.

My third was a Silver convertible (with a dark red top) driving in downtown Vancouver about 2 months ago.

When I saw the car in person at the dealership I had mixed feelings, do not get me wrong I truly believe this is God's car but I was somewhat a little disapointed. I got very strong SL feeling from the inside... but then I looked at the brakes and all was forgave!

I got into one at Expo Motor Cars in Houston while I was there picking up my ML 2 1/2 years ago. I had to literally roll out onto the floor to get out of the damn thing.
