My friend was letting me drive his dad's SLR today so I went down a straight road I normally speed on.. but not one that I've ever hit 120 on. So anyway, I went over this small hill and went airborne just a little bit (stupid I know but that hill seems like nothing when I'm in my own car). The back end came down first and put scratches in the road from the back skid plate. So my question is.. what is the underside of the back-end made out of? Because it didn't scratch a bit but definitely ate up the road. I'll try to get a few pictures tomorrow if it stops raining (Rain + SLR.. not the best mix. Still fun though, and idiotic)
Thanks,
Rob
